“I commend Representatives Bob Latta and Marilyn Strickland for relaunching the bipartisan Grid Innovation Caucus to elevate opportunities for advanced technologies to improve U.S. electricity infrastructure. Transmission capacity expansion and grid modernization are not keeping pace with the needs of American ratepayers and industry, and Congress can accelerate a digital transformation in the sector. The WATT Coalition looks forward to engaging with the Caucus on how Grid Enhancing Technologies can reduce costs and improve reliability and resilience.”
